    Casey Ireland’s research focuses on Medieval English literature and culture. Her current book project examines the medieval hunt as a trans-generic literary preoccupation in medieval texts from the eleventh to the fifteenth centuries. Grants from the Medieval Academy of America and the Oxford Symposium on Food & Cookery have funded research for the project. Her work has been published in New Medieval Literatures and Neophilologus.

    She teaches courses on medieval literature, food and literature, and first-year writing.
