Profile
Erik Fredner studies US literature and culture using computational methods. His work has been published in PMLA, Nineteenth-Century Literature, The Cambridge Companion to the Novel, The Nathaniel Hawthorne Review, and elsewhere. His first book project explores how US literature over the long nineteenth century began to think statistically. He collaborates on computational literary studies projects with the Stanford Literary Lab and the University of Pennsylvania Price Lab for Digital Humanities.
